Hi everyone! My name is Barry, and I am the founder of Carp Addict Clothing. I've been fishing since I was 12, going down the local river with my dad in a small town called Southwold in Suffolk. It wasn't until I was around 16, when we'd moved to Surrey, that I felt the adrenaline of a screaming carp run. That was it! I was addicted from then on. I truly believe carp fishing isn't just a hobby; it's a diagnosis. It's a profound, unwavering commitment—an addiction that true anglers simply cannot shake. We all have our reasons for spending a cold, wet night on the bank, but I'm confident most will share one core sentiment: "Yes, I'm addicted, and no, I don't want help." After years of planning, I've finally launched my own carp fishing brand. And let's be honest, this isn't just about putting another hoodie on your back (you probably own three you never wear already). My passion is to build a community and deliver exceptionally high-quality, durable apparel for men, women, and kids—at a fair price point that entirely eliminates the dreaded "carp tax." Seriously, who decided a decent T-shirt should cost more than a flight to France? My goal is to be different too. This is about creating quality clothing that you can wear on the bank, but also down the pub or a casual family day out, without looking like a toy soldier in public. Because I work a full-time job (yes, I have a proper job, believe it or not), I can guarantee this: 100% of every single penny will be immediately reinvested back into sourcing and developing a wider range of high-quality apparel, with a large focus on women's and kids' gear in particular, as there currently isn't much out there.
